A 100ft yacht charter price sits at yachting's sweet spot: big enough for a proper crew and water toys, small enough to enter ports the giants cannot. Expect roughly $100,000-200,000 per week for the base rate, plus APA, tax, and gratuity.
What does 30 meters buy? Typically 10 guests in 5 cabins, a crew of 5-7, a proper sun deck, and toys like jet skis and seabobs. Go much bigger and the crew doubles. Go much smaller and you lose the toys.
Real example from our database: the 42.7m Benetti motor yacht H, built 2015 and refit in 2024, sleeps 10 in 5 cabins with 8 crew at €187,000-210,000 a week, cruising the Mediterranean and Caribbean. That is the top end of the band; older 30m boats charter for far less.
The band is wide because age matters. A 2023 build prices near the top, a 2008 build with a solid refit near the bottom. Same length, different decade, very different rate.
Marina fees scale with length too, and a 60m berth in a prime port in August is priced like a small apartment. Insurance, maintenance, and fuel follow the same curve. That is why weekly rates roughly double with each 10 meters you add past 30.
If you want the full superyacht feel without the 60-meter invoice, 30 meters is where you stop.
